Agriculture for biodiversity – biodiversity for man. The educational films
As a part of educational part of the KIK/25 project, six 20-minutes educational films under the common title “Agriculture for biodiversity – biodiversity for man” were realized in cooperation with TVP Lublin.
Scientific internship at the Bern University of Applied Sciences
On 19.11-18.12.2016, IUNG-PIB employees: Assist. Prof. Beata Feledyn-Szewczyk and Ph.D. Adam K. Berbeć, were on a scientific internship at Bern University of Applied Sciences (School of Agricultural and Forest Sciences) in Zollikofen, Switzerland.
Valuable and rare species of agricultural landscape birds
Another brochure developed in the KIK/25 project is devoted to valuable and rare species of agricultural landscape birds. The brochure contains descriptions of a dozen selected bird species found in agricultural lands, such as black-tailed godwit (Limosa limosa), northern lapwing (Vanellus vanellus) and common snipe (Gallinago gallinago).
Importance of spiders in agrocenoses
„Importance of spiders in agrocenoses” it is the another educational brochure prepared by team of the KIK/25 project. The brochure includes descriptions and photos of the most numerous families of spiders in agrocenoses found in cereal crops and on meadows.
